Visit of a UNESCO delegation to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella

On 6 May 2026, SDR Tourisme Souss Massa welcomed a UNESCO delegation led by Mr. Cahraf Ahmimed, Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for the Maghreb, as part of a visit dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the region’s cultural heritage.

Accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of SDR Tourisme Souss Massa, the delegation visited the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella to learn about the initiatives undertaken to restore, preserve, and enhance this iconic heritage site, as well as the efforts made to ensure its transmission to future generations.
