Commemoration of the 64th anniversary of the agadir earthquake

On February 29, 1960, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Agadir Oufella, destroying the town and claiming over 12,000 lives. This tragedy left an indelible mark on the history of the town and its inhabitants.

On February 29, 2024, 64 years after the tragedy, we remember. A moment of meditation and commemoration organized by the “Izourane N’Ogadir” association at the Agadir Kasbah to pay tribute to the souls of the deceased.
